Located in the high Himalayan Mountains, these lands radiate a deep spirituality and a magic and mystery unchanged since the Middle Ages. The tour will be accompanied by Roger Gabriel who will share his knowledge and insights during Satsangs and group meditations, throughout the journey.

Arrive Kathmandu and be transferred to Hotel. Around 4pm visit to Boudhanath stupa and Pashupatinath temple for aartiDarshan

Overnight: Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza or similar, Kathmandu

Boudhanath is one of the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temples outside Tibet and the largest Stupa in Nepal. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a major pilgrim and tourist site. Pashupatinath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated on the bank of Bagmati river. This two-tiered pagoda temple stands 23.6meters above the ground and is richly ornamented with gilt and silver plated doors on all sides. Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple - however a good view of the temple can be seen from the opposite bank of the river.

There will be an optional early morning visit to Mt. Everest. This one-hour flight with individual window seat for each passenger gives you a close view of the Himalayas and Mt.Everest, the highest mountain peak on earth. After breakfast,you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square &Soyambhunath stupa (3-4 hours).Afternoon will be at leisure.

KATHMANDU, also known as Kantipur is the capital of Nepal. It is one of the most picturesque cities in the world with over 2,000 temples and shrines. Visit the old City Center Square and Hanuman Dhoka, the historic Palace and temple complex. Visit the 16th century Taleju Temple, the statue of King Pratap Malla, the statue of Hanuman and Jagannath Temple famous for its erotic carvings. You will also visit the mysterious House of the Living Goddess with its profusely carved wooden balconies and windows.

SOYAMBHUNATH stupa is over 2000 years old and one of the world's most glorious Buddhist Chaityas and is situated on the hillock from where one can have a spectacular view of Kathmandu city.

Morning will be a visit toBhaktapur Durbar Square for sightseeing tour [3-4 hours] Afternoon will be free for shopping.

BHAKTAPUR CITY also known as Bhadgaon is the home for medieval art and architecture. The main square contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces such as the Lion Gate, the Palace of 55 windows, the Batsala temple and the Nyatapola temple.

Drive to Pokhara en-route visit Manakamana temple by cable car.

Overnight: Hotel Shangrila Village or similar, Pokhara

Manakamana Temple of Gorkha is situated at about 1300m on top of a hill and is accessed by cable cars. The belief that the Manakamana Goddess fulfils wishes is so deep-rooted in the hearts of Nepalese that they visit the temple as often as they can, at least once a year.

In the morning, there will be a half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara city. Afternoon will be free for activities on own.

Overnight: Hotel Shangrila Village or similar, Pokhara

POKHARA valley, a most popular tourist destination is 200 km west of Kathmandu city, nestled beneath the Annapurna range of the western Himalayas. Here you will visit the Seti River Gorge, Mahendra Cave, Vindhyabasini Temple, Devi’s Falls and the famous lake Phewa where the majestic Fish Tail and Annapurna Himalayas are reflected in its still water. This valley is the base for all treks to Annapurna region

Transfer to airport for Pokhara - Kathmandu flight. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon will be visit Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan) for half day sightseeing tour.Evening there will be a cultural show followed by dinner at a typical Nepalese Restaurant.

BUDHANILKANTHA located at the base of Shivapuri hill is a remarkable colossal statue of Lord Vishnu reclining on a bed of snakes. This 5th century statue is 5m in length and lies inside a recessed tank of water that is 13m in length. This statue carved from a single block of stone is one of the masterpieces of stone sculptures.

Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Arrival Delhi and transfer to hotel. Day will be at leisure or for activities on own.

Overnight: Hotel Radisson or similar, New Delhi

Early morning transfer to airport to fly to Leh. In the evening, visit the Shanti Stupa for a spectacular sunset.

Overnight: Hotel Ladakh Residency or similar, Leh

Leh is a high altitude desert situated at a height of 11500feet above sea level. A beautiful city nestled in the Himalayas with so many attractions,Leh is the centre of Tibeto-Buddhist culture for ages. It is essential to spend the day resting so as to acclimatize adequately.

You will have a full day visit to Alchi and Likir monasteries driving through some beautiful terrain. Drive on to Lamayuru, a village with gorgeous moonscape. Return back to Leh.

Overnight: Hotel Ladakh Residency or similar, Leh

The Alchi monastic complex (Alchi choskor) comprises of four different settlements, of which the Alchi monastery is the oldest, being more than 900 years old and has some fascinating ancient wall paintings not seen in any other monastery. The Likir monastery administers the Alchi monastery and has more than 120 monks in attendance, along with an active school for young monks. You can also visit the ruins of the military fort of Basgo, as well as take in the beauty of the Indus and the Zanskar Rivers at their confluence. The Hall of Fame, Magnetic Field, and the GurdwaraPather Sahib are other attractions on this route.

Take a drive up to Khardung La, the highest motor-able road in the world at 5600m. The two hour journey is an adventurous trip, and has seen numerous rally races in the last few years. Drive on to Nubra Valley, and stop for lunch at Tirith eco camp. Afternoon will be a visit to Tirisha Tso and Samstanling monastery.

Overnight: Tirith eco camp

After breakfast, drive to Hunder village, where you can opt to take a ride on the double humped Bactrian camels. Also visit the Diskit monastery, with its giant statue of the Maitreya Buddha, which is visible from kilometres away. Drive back to Leh.

Overnight: Hotel Ladakh Residency or similar, Leh

An early start today takes you to the Thiksey monastery, where you can attend the morning prayer ceremony. Follow it up by the visit to Shey and Hemis monasteries. Return back to Leh, for a culture show, where a troupe of Ladakhi dancers sing and dance in their traditional gear for you.

Overnight: Hotel Ladakh Residency or similar, Leh

Thiksey Monastery was built in 1630 and is one of the most famous, largest and richest monasteries in Ladakh.The Hemis monastery is one of the largest monasteries in the region and has a vast collection of ancient thangkas and paintings including the largest Thangka in Ladakh which is 12m long. Shey is the erstwhile capital of the monarchs of Ladakh, and has a three storey bronze statue of the Buddha.

Early morning transfer to airport to depart to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, spend time at an airport hotel before connecting to international flights.

  • International travel to Kathmandu and return from Delhi.
  • Nepal visa.You may obtain this on arrival at Kathmandu airport. Please carry two passport size photographs for this visa. A 15 day multiple entry visa costs US$25 payable in cash in US or local currency.
  • Indian Visa. Ladakh is in India so you will need an Indian tourist visa to enter India. This must be obtained from an Indian embassy or consulate in your country of residence before departing for the tour. The cost of this visa varies from country to country and the length of the visa's validity.
  • Any other expenses not indicated.
